At HD Interiors, I specialize in real estate and interior design consulting. I work directly with property owners and realtors, walking through each space and providing clear, professional advice on how to stage and style it for maximum appeal. My focus is on helping clients highlight a properties best features, attract buyers, and ultimately sell faster and for more value.
After each consultation, I provide a detailed written breakdown of everything we discussed — from layout changes and furniture placement to paint colors, lighting, and finishing touches. This step-by-step plan makes it simple for clients to move forward with confidence, whether they tackle updates themselves or bring me in for further support.
While full-service interior design is available, my consulting services are designed to be quick, actionable, and results-driven — giving every client the tools they need to make their space stand out.
From the start, I’ve been drawn to design — sketching, exploring color, and noticing how environments shape the way we feel. Born in Manhattan, raised in the Midwest, and educated in Chicago, I later spent 13+ years in California before returning home to Minnesota.
With 18 years in the interior design industry, I’ve developed a layered perspective shaped by living coast to coast — from timeless East Coast classics to Midwest practicality to relaxed West Coast living. These influences come together in my work, blending tradition with fresh, modern ideas.
Throughout my career, I’ve helped clients unlock the potential in their spaces — whether through real estate consulting, staging, or interior design. I believe every home has a story, and my role is to bring that story forward with clarity, style, and purpose.
Creativity is woven through everything I do — from cataloging inspiration while traveling, to arranging weddings and florals for family and friends, to experimenting with new layouts and finishes. My goal is always the same: to create spaces that feel authentic, welcoming, and truly lived in.
